Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa Activities
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is proud to present active, fun and thought provoking activities for our guests throughout the year. Resort Activities are designed to enhance our guest’s visit with activities directly related to Lake Arrowhead, the San Bernardino National Forest, and the surrounding areas. Here is a list of activities available exclusively to our guests:
Star Gazing – begins ½ hour after sunset (Starting May 2 to November on Friday nights)
Guests can enjoy the beauty and thrill of viewing the night skies through our very own high powered digital telescope with the help and guidance of an Astronomer from the San Bernardino National Forest Association. Questions encouraged. Printed program with sky maps included for keepsake.
Fireside Chats at sunset on the Resort’s Private Beach (Starting May 3 to September on Wednesday and Saturdays nights)
Guests can watch a beautiful sunset while roasting marshmallows over a roaring fire on the Resort’s private beach. After the sun sets, historical stories and tall tales are told about Lake Arrowhead and the surrounding mountain areas by a one of the many leaders from San Bernardino National Forest Association.
Walking Tour of Lake Arrowhead (Starting May 1 Year-round, dependent on current day’s weather- Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) Currently Saturdays & Sundays until May 1
Meet SBNFA leader in Lobby at 9:45 a.m. and start the walk at 10:00 a.m. This guided walk provides guests a 1 ½ hour walk along the shores of Lake Arrowhead using the private Lake Arrowhead Association's walking path, not available to the general public. Leader guides the walk and provides botanical and general information about Lake Arrowhead.
Note:
Lake Arrowhead is a private lake that offers local residents exclusive access lake rights to use the lake and beaches as well as operate their boats and water-ski. Private citizens who do not own homes within the lake rights area are not allowed to have their own boat on the lake.
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa and the Village have exclusive access lake rights as well, allowing the Resort to operate its own private boat and the Village to operate the Arrowhead Queen. This affords our guests the wonderful opportunity to experience the lake as so many of the local residents. Our private boat launches again in May. A new boating schedule will be posted soon for our Private Lake Excursions, Fishing Charters and Romantic Sunset Cruises.

Private Lake Excursion– up to 12 people (May – November ~by appointment only)
$250 for 1-5 persons. $45 each additional person - Maximum 12 guest -Call 909-336-1511
Our guests can enjoy the waters of Lake Arrowhead intimately on our very own boat. Ideal for a private group, family adventure or a unique business outing.
• Advance credit card reservations required. Please be aware, there is a 48-hr cancellation policy in place. Full amount charged if guest/s cancels less than 48-hrs before set cruise.
Fishing Charter 8 a.m.– limit 1-4 people (May – November ~by appointment only)
$300/per charter. Limit 1-4 people - Call 909-336-1511
Fish the lake at your leisure with up to three friends. Includes gear and bait. Catch and release only.

Romantic Sunset Cruises – limit 4-12 people (May – September ~ starting Friday & Saturdays in May then Wednesday through Saturdays from June - September)

Let the world slip away as you set off onto the shimmering waters of Lake Arrowhead before sunset. Our Boat Captain knows exactly where to set anchor so you and your loved one can enjoy the romantic mountain skyline as it bursts into colors at sunset. Wine service and delicious small bites will be served after anchoring to enhance the occasion and make it an evening to remember! Also, you may want to bring a light sweater or jacket if the evening cools.

Movie Night – 7 pm in the Stars Room (Tuesday and Fridays)
Every Tuesday and Friday night, guests are treated to free popcorn and comfy seating while they view one of the 100+ movies filmed in or around Lake Arrowhead. Click here to see current movie schedule under Experience Calendar
Live music in the Lobby from 7 – 10 pm (Friday and Saturday nights)
We have three different musical entertainers who provide a great array of guitar, piano, and vocal entertainment.
Magic J in the Lobby and BIN189 from 7 – 10 pm (Friday and Saturday nights)
Magic J performs quick, exciting and entertaining street magic to dazzle guests throughout the night.
Winemaker Dinners – (Wednesday, once a month) $95 guests - $75 Club Magnum Members

Chef’s Cooking classes – from 3-6 pm (Thursdays)

Golf or play Tennis at the private Lake Arrowhead Country Club – (May – October)
Our in-house guests are provided the exclusive opportunity to play golf or tennis at the private Lake Arrowhead Country Club in Lake Arrowhead. Outdoor swimming pool – heated to 84 degrees (To conserve energy, not heated from December – April) Pool opens Mothers Day weekend.
Poolside bar and BBQ center operates from June to the end of August offering poolside menu and drinks. Two Jacuzzis; one set at a lower temperature for children desiring a bit of relaxation and the second set to 106 degrees for adults.
Yoga Retreats (Quarterly-reservations required)
